About the Trust
Trust in Yellow was officially formed on the 26th April 2006 by a group of supporters of Southport Football Club disgruntled by a lack of supporter involvement and a growing rift between the board of directors and it's supporters. During the six months which preceded the group had spent time carefully constructing working relationships with the supporters, board of directors, playing staff and media. Whilst wholly independent Trust in Yellow works closely with Southport Football Club to achieve their individual and respective objectives.

Reserves
The Trust has put in £2970 into running the reserves so far, a combination of paying bills directly (eg for coaches) and making payments into the club’s account. The club has £500 of this money left. The first share certificate was received for the initial £2000 payment. The Trust has £13,500 in the bank with the estimated cost for this season’s reserves £7525. The first three games yielded an income of £475 and the club says that Learning Skills Council funding will be in place to fund the reserves in the future. The Trust’s logo will also be on the shorts at the next game.

Make a pledge
Thursday October 08, 2009
Supporters can make a pledge about any event in the 2009/10 season. The most popular pledges are for an amount per goal, an amount for an individual
goalscorer, red cards, yellow cards, pounds for points etc; etc; etc.
The choice is endless and the more original the better. The idea is to raise funds so the more realistic you can make it the better.
You can pledge by e-mail to juliaurwin@trustinyellow.com, in person in the Club Shop on a match day or drop your pledge off at the club any weekday.
