Trust in Yellow and Southport supporters paid homage to legendary goalkeeper Steve Dickinson, who departed for Guiseley earlier this month. ‘Dicko’, has been heralded by many as an all time Haig Avenue great and returned to the area for the Burscough v Guiseley fixture, featuring no less than 7 ex-‘Sandgrounders’.
TIY presented Dickinson with an honorary membership, as thank you for seven years of commendable loyalty and immaculate service tempered with many highs, lows and moments of sheer brilliance - Thank-you Steve. A ‘Sandgrounder’ forever.
