Peter Rigby R.I.P

Trust in Yellow are saddened to announce the deah of Chairman Peter Rigby who passed away at home last night. Peter only took over as Chairman last year after taking over from intial chairman John O'Byrne.He will be sorely missed by all those involved in Trust in Yellow. For the time being, vice-chair, Alan Scarisbrick will step up.

The next society board meeting is scheduled for Thursday 5th of Feburary.

Peter started the meeting by detailed how we got to the process of calling an SGM to purchase the minibus after a request for a minibus for the youth team was raised by the club in the meeting in September.

Minutes Of Open Meeting - 27th November

Apologies: Paul Glendenning, Alan Jones  Peter Rigby reminded the attendees that the open meetings were for members and non – members had one opportunity to attend before joining, otherwise they would be asked to leave.

Minibus – at the previous meeting it was suggested that we approach the club regarding the purchase of a minibus in exchange for shares in the football club. Peter has informally approached the club and the club have agreed the proposal. Since the discussions the club have now informed the trust that they have the option to purchase the minibus currently used for youth team matches for a fee of £5000 from Caterforce. The vehicle is a 17 seat minibus with an upgraded engine. Steve Wignall agreed to go and inspect the vehicle.

Finances, membership and book update – Finances currently stand at over £14,000 with £790.45 having been raised at the race night. There is still £90 to come from the players and Stroud Engineering which will raise the figure closer to £800. Membership is now 201 having picked up from about 140. There are 45 books left to sell at the current time.

Minutes of Meeting Between Club & Trust - Thursday 25th September

Catering

 The club is aware of issues with the catering and at the meeting with Haydn, earlier in the month, it was agreed that the Trust could contact Richard Hughes of Caterman. The Trust has now received a response from Richard with a positive feel to it. Haydn has already had a meeting with Richard in the last week and it was agreed that Mr.Clapham would arrange a follow up meeting with Richard within the next four weeks (subject to Richard’s availability). The plan would then be to have a three way discussion between Caterman, the club and the Trust on how we can improve the product.
