Coach travel update

Unfortunately we’re not able to run a coach to the match at Torquay United next weekend as only 11 bookings have been received.

We’ve got over 30 bookings on the coach to Atrincham on Easter Monday, March 28, so this will definitely be running.

The fare to Altrincham is a great value £9 members and £12 non-members, which is the Trust's cheapest ever price for the coach to this fixture.

To book, text Bill Sloan on 07952056385.

No match updates service from Grimsby

We know how much fans value the club’s match updates service supported by the Trust. We currently have one or two issues which are now in the process of being resolved but unfortunately this won’t be in time for Tuesday’s match at Grimsby. We apologise to supporters for that and aim to resume normal service as soon as possible.

Trust in Yellow supports Sign for Life

Trust In Yellow is proud to support a new organ donation campaign, Sign for Life.

From Saturday February 27 to Sunday March 13, NHS Blood and Transplant will be asking football fans to “join our team” and sign up to the NHS Organ Donor Register to help save and improve lives.

Three people die each day in need of a transplant and there are currently around 7,000 people on the waiting list in the UK because of a shortage of organ donors.

There are simply not enough organs available, so football supporters are being asked to think about joining the register and then share their decision with friends and family.

A single organ donor can transform the lives of up to nine people! So if more people signed the register and their families then agreed to donate their loved one’s organs, more lives could be saved.

Following a hugely successful campaign last year supported by 27 clubs, foundations and organisations, NHS Blood and Transplant is aiming to get even more people talking about organ donation and taking action in 2016.

There are already a number of Premier League and Football League clubs on board to support the campaign including Chelsea, Manchester City, Bolton Wanderers, Queens Park Rangers, Sheffield Wednesday, Peterborough, Dagenham & Redbridge and Notts County. Trust In Yellow would like to encourage Southport supporters to join the team.

How to get involved:

• Join the team: register as an organ donor at organdonation.nhs.uk/signforlife or call 0300 123 23 23

• Share your decision with your family, as NHS Blood and Transplant will need them to support donation going ahead

• Follow the campaign on social media using #signforlife

Join Trust in Yellow - Get Involved!

As we enter our tenth year, it has never been a better time to be a member of Trust in Yellow.

During the current season, we have seen the long-awaited fruit of many members' labours with the erection of the new floodlights, which have made a fantastic difference to the matchday experience.

The new Get Involved! series of events was launched with a Meet the Manager session in August and has included a quiz, Mark Heaton Tribute evening, Race Night and Christmas Party, with more to follow. We launched our first Calendar, which has proved to be a sell-out, even on the second print run.

We've seen two phenomenal reunions of much-loved sides, with summer’s reunion and fans’ match with the Conference North winning side of 2005, and the Bingham's Boys event earlier this month commemorating the fantastic FA Cup run of 50 years ago - and it is particularly fitting that arguably Southport's two most successful and well-known managers, namely Billy Bingham and Liam Watson, were in attendance.

We're also looking forward to engaging with the club in a more pro-active way moving forward, with regular meetings to ensure supporters are fully informed about what is happening at the club, as well as being able to communicate their own views and concerns.

As in previous years, we continue to organise coach travel to games, and we have listened to fans' requests in ensuring that the fares this season have been the cheapest we have ever offered.

We have also given supporters the opportunity to vote on the Player of the Month award, with junior supporters being offered the opportunity to present the trophy. We will also be organising the End of Season Awards Evening which will see supporter involvement once again.

There are many more things which we do on behalf of our members, but what is clear is that as we prepare to enter our second decade, Trust in Yellow is moving forward to a bigger and brighter future. Together we are stronger, and it would be wonderful if all supporters could be a part of our winning team, as one of the largest shareholders in the Club.

An Annual membership is just £10 and all members will receive a share certificate. Family membership for 2 adults and up to 3 children is £20. The Trust's office situated by the Jack Carr Stand turnstiles is always open to supporters before and after matches.

Any email enquiries can be sent to fans@trustinyellow.com.

Don't delay - join Trust in Yellow today! Thank you for your support.
